I've never made any wreath before, but this one is sew beautiful and I'd love to make it. It looks like it wouldnt' be too hard. I dont understand what a base is...do you have to sew all the yoyo's to the cereal box? How do you sew the yo'yo's to eachother. I need a new wreath for my door and that would be perfect!

Thanks. Another idea for my YoYo section of my quilting projects.

As far as a base goes, I think a styrofoam rounded circle will work. Am checking at Jo-Ann's at my next visit.

Thanks for reminding me - I have a yo-yo bedspread that my mother and aunt made 70+ years ago. I haven't used it in a while - now to find it...

The base is small enough to cut from a cereal box and then I hot glued the yo-yos on to the base, which is also covered with fabric, but this may change as I'm always thinking of easier ways to do crafts. If I find a better way I'll email you with the directions.

I haven't done yoyos for years but that makes me think about doing some. Thanks for the pic.
