I neveer knew what it was until a few days ago.. and it is FUN!! FUN FUN>> This is going to be a learning piece for sure.. I can't wait to do another one !!!

Thread painting would add all the dimension you want on any piece in the quilt.

It's going to be beautiful when its all finished. On the waterfall what about stitching it with shades blues, grays and aqua colors? It would give it texture and maybe the illusion of movement.

Having lived in So. CA and going to Yousemite as a child, you sure brought back some memories in a very pretty way!! Thank You!

I used a varigated thread on waterfall.. blues... I can probably add some more. When I did that part.. I had no idea what thread painting was.. so learning as I go ;)>>
