The only thing worse is to have someone watching a movie with you and ask, "What pattern is the quilt in the background?" and you didn't even see the quilt in the background because you were actually watching the movie.LOL

Even DH points out quilts on TV or in the movies. THAt's why DVDs are great. One can pause the quilt scene. lol

I had been sewing all weekend at retreat and went back to work on Monday. Sat down at my desk and......went to step on the pedal to get the computer to go faster. Now I am turning red just telling you this. ;(

Actually, no one thinks I'm funny or interesting when I talk about sewing - they all find it quite boring. But I sew ALL the time and no one is interested any more - which is why I love this site SO MUCH!

You know you sew too much when you are all the way counting your change at the supermarket and suddenly you become aware that you still are wearing your Thimble!

LOL I did that Sunday coming out of the movie theatre from seeing Harry Potter. Was pointing out to the people we were with how the "stars" in the carpet were a quilt block pattern using squares & HST. My husband just shook his head at me lol.

Someone posted that their dog always had thread on them, well you know you sew too much when you leave the house and someone points out the threads attached to your clothes.

You know you've got it bad when you take your cell phone into the restaurant bathroom to take a picture of the tiles because the design would make a great quilt pattern.
