You know you think about quilting too much when .....

.... your co-worker points to several files stacked on a cabinet and asks "why are these here?" and you reply "Those are fabrics that I need to scan then shred".

Quizical look from co-worker followed by a chuckle.
May your stitches always be straight, your seams always lie flat, and your grain never be biased against you.

...You wake up several times through the night trying to figure yardage, write down a quilt idea, or look at your stash to try to fit it into something that you saw in your dream.

When someone asks you to shorten a skirt or hem some pants, you bite your tongue and try to smile. Just because you have a sewing machine, doesn't mean you want to do anything except quilt.

when you are sitting at a red light looking at the tag in front of you with the number 214 and you read it as 2 and 1/4. I started a thread just like this before seeing this one. Sorry for the duplicate!

When it makes me mad that work keeps me too busy to work on my quilt! Of course work is what supports my fabric habit

When I'm at a church meeting and I wonder "why aren't they talking about quilts" instead of people or other things. I can't even get my mind on my cooking, my laundry, my tv. ha.

I was watching Mike and Molly on TV on May 14 - and I noticed the quilt that Mike's Mom was using on the couch.

I really thought this was normal.

I also look at barns and think they would look so much nicer with a quilt block on them.

You know that you are a quilter when you are responding to a survey about sewing and quilting and they do not have a choice high enough for the number of machines that you own and you do not see the correct choice for the number of hours that you devote to sewing and quilting. LOL this happened to me recently.

When you look at the pastor's shirt and wonder if it is 100% cotton because it would make a great neutral in a scrap quilt.
