Love them both but the purple center just looks better to me. On the pink center the very points are dark purple and my eye goes right to them and misses the rest of the quilt.

The one with the purple center looks more balanced to me and I see the whole star.

The are both wonderful!

the pink center makes the colors flow alot smoother..and easier to the eye.
