Remember, "Don't sweat the small stuff - and it's all small stuff"?

I am frustrated and am reminding myself that this is a small thing and I am sure I am not the first one that has had this happen.

I am making a table runner for my DIL. I have 2/3 of the top finished and noticed TWO squares are in WRONG. I am taking a break before going back to get out Jack (the ripper) and fix my mistake. In reality, this will take a small amount of time out of my life to fix it.

This is a small thing, this is a small thing, this is a small thing......

it is a small thing-but I understand-I hate ripping out seams

Been there, done that! You are smart to take a brake first. When you and Jack start back in fresh, you will have it righted in no time. Good for you for sticking in there!

It will be fine and won't take long to redo the mistake, just wait and all of sudden you will say to self. " I am going to redo that table runner." You then will sit down and wha la it will be done. waiting to see picture.

I understand. Sometimes the small things take a big bite. I hate unsewing, too.

Yup been there, done that. My best friend's name was Jack, but I told him he wasn't welcomed if he worked more than me. LOL

Wasn't it the amish that leave or place one block in backwards or a different color in their quilts? ;) Saves the ripping

Is it something you can applique over?

I tell myself that 50 years from now someone will say, "that is a nice quilt, too bad she didn't fix that mistake." Then I fix it.

As annoying as a date with Jack can be, it will be more annoying if you don't fix your faux pas.
