Remember, "Don't sweat the small stuff - and it's all small stuff"?
I am frustrated and am reminding myself that this is a small thing and I am sure I am not the first one that has had this happen. I am making a table runner for my DIL. I have 2/3 of the top finished and noticed TWO squares are in WRONG. I am taking a break before going back to get out Jack (the ripper) and fix my mistake. In reality, this will take a small amount of time out of my life to fix it. This is a small thing, this is a small thing, this is a small thing...... |
it is a small thing-but I understand-I hate ripping out seams

Been there, done that! You are smart to take a brake first. When you and Jack start back in fresh, you will have it righted in no time. Good for you for sticking in there!
|
It will be fine and won't take long to redo the mistake, just wait and all of sudden you will say to self. " I am going to redo that table runner." You then will sit down and wha la it will be done. waiting to see picture.

I understand. Sometimes the small things take a big bite. I hate unsewing, too.
|
Yup been there, done that. My best friend's name was Jack, but I told him he wasn't welcomed if he worked more than me. LOL
|
Wasn't it the amish that leave or place one block in backwards or a different color in their quilts? ;) Saves the ripping
|
Is it something you can applique over?

As annoying as a date with Jack can be, it will be more annoying if you don't fix your faux pas.
