Need some advice on how to quilt around these flowers

I made this quilt top with my mom in mind. She loves flowers but cannot have any in the house due to the fact that dad is allergic to them. I thought I'd try to finish this and give it to mom.

Do you have any advice on how to quilt this? I'm open to your advice and will take all suggestions into consideration. Thanks!

I love how this one turned out. The embroidered roses are from emblibrary.com

I think I would outline around the flowers and leaves in white so it wouldn't show and take away from the flowers.

I like Joyce's idea, but I've also seen a diagonal crisscross, sort of lattice, that I thought looked nice.

With that, do they just stop when they come to the flowers and pick up on the other side?

I would do an echo around the flowers and some type of a tight fill in the background to really make the flowers stand out.

Outline the flowers and then fill in with cross hatch. You could do a vine and leave meander in the sashing.

Here's a picture. Not exactly the same. http://stannequilting.blogspot.com/2...ilt-by-gk.html

With a quilt that pretty, I would send it out to be quilted by someone who would do a really nice job. I do like the idea by tesspug. "Outline the flowers and then fill in with cross hatch. You could do a vine and leave meander in the sashing."
