fabric cut wrong direction
 

I made a quilt for my husband with a golf theme. It had squares that I fussycut pictures of golfers. Here is my problem, one of the fabrics had an up and down direction that I didn't notice. After getting the top all sewn I realized my problem. Has this just happened to me or has this happened to any of you out in QB world. I decided to not correct the problem, a quilter friend tried to talk me into fixing the problem that would take labor intense work. Any ideas from you quilters out there? the quilt is at the machine quilter as I type. By the way my husband saw the problem right away! Imagine that! I thought he wouldn't notice this oversight. I mentioned I could fix it but it would take me away from spending quality time with him, he said ignore it!

You did exactly what I would have done. Time to quit worrying about it.

Probably ignore it. If the quilt could be looked at from several different directions, it probably doesn't matter that all the blocks are in the same direction (if I understood what you were saying).

I say ignore it because if your DH says it's fine, it's fine. You made it for him and he likes it. So no worries. :):):)

We have almost all done the very same thing. If your husband likes it, leave it alone. It's for him anyway. Enjoy your time with him. :)

Your hubby knows his quilt was made with love and that's all that matters.

You intended to do that .... right? It's a conversation starter now. Besides, who's perfect in this world? I would enjoy it the way it is.

It happened to me just the other day I was so pround I got my pieces cut then to find out half of them were in the wrong direction.

I think it's just wonderful that he would rather have quality time with you than to have you correct this.
