Remember Diaper Pins?
I was pinning blocks together the other day and, when the pin wouldn't slide right in, I automatically just ran it through my hair. Anyone else remember doing that with diaper pins? (My "baby" is 45!)

I had nice sharp diaper pins but I do remember making sure that my hand was inside the diaper as I pinned to make sure I didn’t accidentally scratch the baby. Got myself a few time though.

I always kept a small bar of soap near the changing table. Used it like a pin cushion and the little coating of soap made the slid through the diaper fabric smoothly and easily. Vaguely recall the running through my hair on occasion. Figured the soap was safer for ME than through my hair. ;)

My baby is 64, and I still have his diaper pins--w blue bear face. Thx for reminding me!

I remember that. Not sure most kids nowadays have any idea how to put a real diaper on a baby.

Oh my gosh. What a walk down memory lane. I still have a couple of them. How about rubber pants. I used to buy Gerber rubber pants because I could get them at my grocery store.

Yes I remember diaper pins and running them onto the side of my nose to "oiL" them so they would slide through.

I buy good quality, nickel-plated pins. They slide easily.
