I bought some white material that is a ( I hope this is right) Tone on Tone. White with little white flowers. When I would look at it it looked like the white flowers or the design on it was well a little off white. I hope that someone on here can understand what I am talking about. When I took it up to be cut I opened it up from the bolt and the backside of it was the white on white and I loved it but it is THE BACK SIDE of the material! My question is would it be wrong to use the back side as the front? I really like it so much better that the front. I really need help on this.

I have used the back as well as the front, on the same quilt, and there where none the wiser. As I have read on here several times,"You paid for both sides so why not use them?"
 |
I love WOW fabrics, but you are right, the one white is more off white. I have used the "wrong" side on a quilt and no one will ever know it but me  It just looks like a muted design :D:D:D

 I have liked the toned down version at times, no reason it won't work! :-D |
Thank you all so much! I was so scared that I had bought the material and that I would not use it if I couldn't use the back instead of the front. I don't care to much for off white it just looks like that it is dirty to me. lol

LOL! I say go for it! :D

I have not only used the back side of fabric, when I couldn't see my marks to quilt, I quilted from the back to the front. Worked great!

you pay for both sides of the fabric, use both sides of the fabric how ever you like; it is yours and no one will have any idea in the finished quilt that you turned a fabric over. lots of times one side works better than the other...as far as i'm concerned there is no 'wrong' side just 2 different sides.

I've used the backside of fabrics often in my quilts, once it is sewn into the quilt nobody will ever know!!!

Use the backside, its ok, I think most of us have done it!
