advertisements suddenly showing up

I have turned off my ad blocker to test in a few different browsers - including safari.
I don't get ads in between thread titles or between comments within threads.
I get ads only in the usual places - on top, bottom and sides.
Before I can ask tech support to investigate, I'll need more information about your computers.
