Advertisements

I haven't noticed Stephanie, but most of the ads I see are quilt related. Some are public service ads, like how to stop smoking. I do occasionally click on a quilt related ad, because I am happy someone is paying for this site, and I don't have to. If you respond to a decent, legitimate ad, it might keep the advertisers advesting in the quilting board. If no one responded to the ads, and the advertisers went away, we would have to pay to keep this website going.

Yes, Stephanie is trying to visit me too. But worse yet, the overflowing toilet is happening from AllState Insurance again. Thought that was solved as I hadn't gotten the ad in well over a week. I've done everything suggested from my end to stop this. Although I can find the humor, if one spends a decent amount of time on QB it becomes aggravating. So much so, that I've skipped going on daily to QB because it has become so distracting.

If you see the 'Ad choices' to the top left of the ad, click on it and it takes you to an opt out list. Select all those offered and it stops those companies targeting ads at you. There was one company that failed to respond and for them there is a 'report opt out failure' button.
