Easy Way I Found to ReSize Photos for QB
Hi,
I found an easy way to resize photos that are acceptable for uploading to the QB that works for me, and thought it might work for you.
I email the photos I wanted to upload, to myself. Then I save that version on my computer.
When I attached them to upload, they upload fine. Didn't get the "failed" message that often comes because the size is too large.
It seems that my computer is automatically resizing them for acceptable file size by emailing. (I bought a new camera with 12 megapixels, which is certainly too large to upload to QB.)
Hope this works for you!

That's one way, but I'm sure that your camera has a setting where you could change that 12 magapixels way down before taking the pictures. That's what I do if I know I'm not going to print out a life-size poster!

Its not the megapixels that are killing the upload, thats just the resolution. You need to check the dimensions of the pixels. There is a setting on your camera that allows you to choose the size you want to take. 680x420 is the correct size for most emailing and uploading. You can also edit the size by uploading the photos to your computer and then using Google Picasa to edit them to the correct size. Good Luck!

Girlfriend, I do the same thing, my program always asks if I want to re-size photos when emailing. If I've already edited and saved them I right click on them, click send, and get the prompt that way too. When I get them in my email I right click and "save as" and replace the big one.
