I use my paint program to reduce them. I know there is a way to set the camera but I'm pretty electronically challenged. Somebody else will probably tell you a better way, but as for me... I open Paint, drag and drop the pix then select 'Resize', click on Pixels and choose about 350, then 'OK', then at the top go to 'File' and choose 'Save As' and it will say, 'A file by that name already exists, do you wish to replace it?' And I say yes. That saves it to the proper size so I can post to the forum. I put the picture I want to reduce on my desktop so its easy to find when I need to drag and drop it to Paint. I'm pretty dumb about this stuff but that's how someone showed me and it works for me. Good Luck. Jan

It depends on whether you have a Mac or something else. When you try to post a picture, you see at the bottom the allowable size for a jpeg. Then when you go to preview on your Mac go to "tools" and it will show you what size yours is and give you an option to "resize". You can make your photo smaller to fit the jpeg requirement. If you don't have a Mac, you'll have to get other instructions.

It does depend on your hardware and software, but this works for me:
First do this:

Its easier to set the setting in your camera when you take them to a lower resolution then you don't have to deal with resizing

My old Adobe Photoshop program has a button to make pictures into the right size for "web" viewing. (I often forget to use it and get huge pics) but it works wonderfully! Maybe other "picture" programs have similar "save for web" options.
