Default Just a suggestion:do we need a separate Game section?

Hi,
I was just wondering if we need a separate section just for games? I was surprised to see so many on the first page of General Chit Chat, today.

Well I've often thought that too. Not sure what's up with the mixing of games with the general subjects. I'm sure people have complained about it already though.

I don't participate in the games, but I know there are others who enjoy them. I view all forums in order of the thread's start date, rather than the date of the last entry, so I don't usually see games in my view. Still, they don't really fall under the description of chit-chat, so I'm also in favor of putting them somewhere else.

They are fun, and when I want to play, I'll gladly go to the "games" tab. I wouldn't mind them on the general chit chat, but because there are so many I have to scroll down and hit the "page" button too many time. So If you are going to keep them in general chit chat, how about letting us view more threads per page. Then skipping wouldn't be such a nuisance.

Jane, if you will click on your username at the top of the page, you will see "settings" on the left hand side.
Click on that and you can change the number of threads you see, up to 40. That choice is down toward the bottom of the options.

click on the save changes button at the bottom

I agree. Please create a separate games forum.

This would be my vote - I don't come to this forum for games, but I can respect that others like them.

I agree too - if we have a subforum in Main for old machines, why not a subforum in Chitchat for Games? Check it out early in the morning, almost the whole first page is games.
