May I suggest one little improvement I'd like to see on this site? If they could add a button to thank, thumbs up, or agree under each post it would save a lot of time both in the reading of many people saying the same thing and also in responding to posts that need nothing more than an up vote.

Thanks for all the work you all do to manage this marvelous behemoth of a site!
we don't want to be like Facebook.
we are - and want to remain - better than Facebook.
words mean more than a click.

Working great for me. I have to change my “Favorites” to the new website link format. The old website link no longer worked as a “Favorite”. Which was expected.

I think the new format is good, I like the thumbnails instead of a big photo opening up. The search feature works great and I love the drop down menu for quick links. What I don't understand is what the little envelopes mean to the left of the posts. Some are red and some are beige.

if you pass your cursor over those icons it should display descriptive text.

I had previously tried that and it did not work for me. I just tried it again, and the only ones that gave info on the icons are the Announcement, and those posts that I've replied to [which gives the date of reply - good feature]
That being said, if you click on one of the Forum's main page/list of threads, and scroll to near the bottom, the explanation of the icons is listed there.

And are they going to charge for this compatible plugin? What is the name of the plugin and where can it be obtained?

Will the new format allow us to post short messages like "Wow!" instead of having to come up with a longer explanation of what we are trying to express?

Thank you to everyone trying to make the site even better.

Default Can we change the colors of the site ourselves?

I presume not but thought I’d ask I am really having trouble with them.

many thanks to Patrice and her team. The quilting board has been invaluable to my quilting journey. I’ve made some great friends on the board. Your work is very appreciated.
