Still trying to post pix
#11
I just posted pics and understand your pain. Here is how I quickly resized my photos (no new software needed) via computer using Windows --- not sure how to do this on an Apple machine.
Hope this helps.
1. Copy pic to your computer. Remember location!!
2. Open Windows Explorer by following steps:
a. Right click on 'Start' button icon - extreme lower left of screen
b. Select "Open Windows Explorer"
3. Navigate to location of your picture
4. Note "size" of picture
a. Depending on the view you are looking at, you may not see the size.
b. If you do not see the size, change your view to "Details"
5. Right click on name of picture; select "Edit" --- mine opens in "Paint"
6. Picture will open in Paint
7. From top menu.... select the following:
a. "Home" tab at top
b. "Resize" --- another window will appear
8. Make sure "Percentage" radio button is selected.
9. Type 75 in horizontal text box (note, vertical text box will automatically update).
10. Select "ok"
11. Save and close pic.
12. Note new size of pic.
13. You may have to do the above steps again to get it to the size you want.
14. The ideal size of my pics were around 316 kb
**If you are still having trouble, please send me a PM.... I will try to personally assist.
Good luck!

Have you resized your photos that you have previously taken? The optimum size should be 640x480 pixels.
Have you changed the settings on your camera that you are using? What kind of camera are you using?
Do you go "advanced" when trying to post your pictures?
Do you select the photo and then click on upload?
Do you wait while the photo uploads and when it finishes click on close the window?
I know, lots of questions. When I first "relearned" the photo loading process after the "change", I also had a hard time. What I did was to write all of the steps down and kept the list at my computer. Why don't you post replies to the questions I asked on this thread and I will try to help you post your photos.

4. At the top of Manage Attachments is where you browse for the picture or pictures you want to post
5. I double click the picture and it loads the file name loads.
