Knitette, love your quilt. What great outfits they are wearing.

Gramajo, you're bright colors and backing are perfect.

Wildyard.....have you considered ironing on a muslin interfacing? They make one-sided. You could stabilize it that way and add the rest of your blocks. Once the top and sandwich are together you could heavily quilt it, especially along the seams such as SID on both sides of the seams. I think that would hold it well. What do you think?

OK guys - RING THAT BELL! The 15 year old Winding Ways quilt is done, washed, and in my truck!!! Lessons learned on this one:
    1. NEVER use cotton sheeting if you are going to hand or machine quilt!
    2. NEVER use high loft batting if you are going to hand or machine quilt!
    3. If you hate hand quilting, DON'T start it!!!
    4. Consider carefully the time you will put in if you plan to echo quilt!
So the quilt is purple and since our school colors are purple and white I figure I can take it to football games. I do wish I had done a better job on it since the pattern is very pretty but I am so disgusted I will probably never make another one.

JNCT14 That is one gorgeous quilt. You better cover it if you leave it in the truck/car.
