Have a great trip Martina--I'll take over the falling off the wagon duties for you--oops already have. LQS had nice flannel (kauffman) for $5 a yd so enough for quilt back at that price. Also a couple of 1 yd pieces at sale prices for what ever....

Don't forget to take an empty suitcase Martina (or buy one whilst you are there). You are bound to find something fabulous to bring home. Safe journey.

Anybody have a fabric shopping expedition planned for Black Friday or Small Business Saturday? Looks like all the online shops have already started their sales (not that I've been looking or anything...)

Princess: Now that's just diabolical! I can get in enough trouble all by myself, thank you. Yeap, some good sales out there. Always my downfall. Not that I have been looking you understand..

Well, dear quilting wagon riders...I fell off again. Bought 10 yds (2 each of 5 different reds) from one of the folks here on the board. At $4/yd, I felt I needed to get it because a red and white quilt keeps calling out my name to make it. Plus...I am tempted to get up at 1a.m. Friday morning my time to check out a couple of the quilt shops online as their sales start at midnight their time. But going out on Black Friday in the crowds..no way. So much easier to sit in front of the computer. Happy shopping everyone..whatever you do. I am sure there will be lots of confessions being posted after Friday.

Well, I have to admit that I fell off the wagon. I stopped at an estate sale for two women quilters. I just had to buy the FULL apple size box of solids (which I never think to purchase) for $22! I had to give them a new place to play with all my other stash. So, while I did fall off the wagon, at least I did it at an estate sale that will help pay for a nice funeral. I got 1/2 to 4 yard pieces of every color I can think of. Pictures tomorrow!
