Congratulations, LTeachergeorge! This is adorable! So I've got to ask if the b/w check is actually printed - heavens I hope so - or did you stitch it? Toot, Toot for a totally fun finish any child would love!

I finally put the binding on my December doll quilt. It is a pattern by Kathleen Tracy in her book American Doll Quilts and she titled it Underground Railroad. Sorry that I can't post a picture.

And wouldn't you know, I ran into a problem with the binding. I was a 1/2 INCH short and couldn't find the fabric, but I did manage to find the triangles that I cut off when I joined the binding. Showed my husband the 2 tiny pieces and told him that we quilters throw nothing away.

This doll quilt was supposed to be a Christmas gift, then a Valentine's gift. I am now ready for my friend's April birthday. I finished with time to spare. LOL

Love seeing everyone's UFO's completed. Nice work.

Not yet, Leta, but we're closing in on it. LTeachergeorge's quilt is #94 by my count.

Also a reminder, I'm perfectly capable of goofing up the tally so if anyone's finish has not been properly acknowledged or feels their UFO finish has been left out of the count, PLEASE let me know!

Janice, didn't want to whine about it, but the checkered is actually pieced with 1.5" strips. The "baby" is two years old; I think he and his brothers will have fun with it. I have yellow minke on the back. Thank you for all the compliments on it!

Well I'm glad I asked. It's just that much more impressive. Thanks for sharing it!

So did you yell when you came to the end of your binding. Lucky you to find your scraps...
