Thanks for the congrats, girls. :-)
Thank you for the guideline for cutting the squares, Bev. I plan to work on my block at the end of the month, or beginning of July. I have overtime at work during the weekdays this summer... and a baby visit planned for this weekend!

Happy 4th of July, everyone! We have some great weather today-- finally blue skies after a lot of rain recently. I'm supposing the fireworks display will be wonderful tonight!
I haven't abandoned my June block, but I've been busy recently with other things. Does anyone else have a picture for us yet? :-)

I got caught up with the Harriet's Journey group (except for the applique, which for me is a long term affair), so I had a week to work on my Old School blocks. I made good progress on the hexie block; I am not doing EPP, because I can't see any sense to it when I can do regular hand-piecing without all the fuss, so that's what I'm doing for that one. Here is my block #5 (modified to avoid getting a second block):

The July block looks like fun, and you don't have to sign up for anything:

Nice job on your May block, thanks for showing it to us! And thanks for the link for this month, handy to get it. I wonder why she calls a triangle an angle?
