2025 Various BOMs, QALs, and Mysteries

This thread is dedicated to supporting and encouraging those of us who are working on blocks of the month, quilt alongs, mystery quilts or other projects which don't have a dedicated thread. Tell us the event(s) you're doing this year; we'll tell you about ours; we all cheer each other along, offer advice (if asked), and report our progress.
A couple of weeks ago several of us were discussing joining different BOMs which probably won't gender enough interest to have it's own thread, but several folks indicated interest in one or more. Here's the discussion if you want to see what BOMs and QALs peaked our interest: Free 2025 BOMs - Looking for new projects for 2025?.
If it's a QB challenge, this support group is not intended to replace your posts in that thread. please continue to share in the named threads. Of course you are welcome to share here as well.
So please come join the fun!

Besides the Aby Quilts BOM, I decided to join with Happy Hour stitches. https://www.hhstitches.com/post/join...k-of-the-month. I recently found a pack of 14 half yard pieces of dotted fabric from Connecting Threads. I'm sure I had a plan for them at one point, but after all these years I have no idea what it was. But many of the fabrics were close in colour to the ones in this BOM.

While not a free Sampler BOM, I have just started a sampler by Fig Tree called Stitchers Sampler. I am using all stash from Kim Diehl. I’m not sure this counts since you have to purchase the book. If not, I will understand. Not the Original plan for your fabrics, but I think you’ve been holding on to them for just this BOM!

Oh, I'm so glad someone else is here! This is not just for free BOMs, etc. But for anything we are working on that is not a named thread. I hope to have a block from Happy Hour finished tomorrow. Still working on the Old Town mystery. Originally Posted by Lena1952

Looks like my pumpkinpatchbc BOM Safari would fit into this category? I spent a few hours yesterday working on the January block, haven’t finished the stitching yet, but I always enjoy the machine appliqué. I use rayon thread and a kind of double blanket stitch on my Husqvarna.

That is the cutest block ever! I don't do applique, but if I did I'd be sorely tempted to try this one. Thank you for sharing. Originally Posted by thimblebug6000
