DogHouseMom - how frustrating. But, like others have said, at least only 2 sets weren't sewn as opposed to the other 40. With all the computerized stuff on my new sewing machine, it still doesn't tell me when I am low on bobbin thread. I've run out once in the middle of a seam already. And it was a nice straight seam, too. Are you listening Janome?

Thank you for the comments on the tree. I doubt I will be making it again, unless it becomes my signature piece for challenge fabric.

You have no idea how I hate being between projects. I prepped a DJ block, and lost it somewhere in the house....!!! I spent a day looking Ugh! Now my house isn't that bad, but we had company and I "CLEANED UP".
Tomorrow I'm meeting two old and dear friends for lunch. I see them infrequently as we've moved apart.
So desperate was I to SEW something I made some little change purses. One of my friends has a daughter and a granddaughter, so I had to make four. The first one took an hour, the last one, 15 minutes.
That block will turn up some day, along with all the other things I put away for safekeeping.
Yes this was from a link that was posted last week.

It's so good to be back for a wee bit ... and to pop on here to find some fun chatter happening!! I need some laughs right now, to awaken me!

Haven't forgotten to do my July DJ photos .... just been a tad busy. Stay tuned as I am hoping to get that done while here today.

Do you suppose that ........... MaryK's DJ + Anael's sleeve + OKSGlad's FFC plans have run off on a summer adventure together! Wonder what escapades they are up to? Watch out Ladies ... they might visit and steal things from you too!!!!!!!!!

MaryK ... What a contrast from your wee purses to your new Fox Trot ... the start of another masterpiece! How dare that DJ to runaway on yhou ... must be off on summer holidays.

And here are the 3 Amigos. We worked really well together and had a lot of fun.
Lunch as fun too. (I'm the one on he left.) Still haven't found the run away block but I finished the Fox.

MaryK ... looks like fox and cardinal are having a conversation!!!
What a happy group of three amigos! While you are not able to get together often, it's so nice that you make sure those GTGs periodically do happen. I'm sure there was lots of laughter and stories to share.
So what is your DJ count now?? .... I'm just about to post my July update!!! Yes, July is long gone, but finally I took the pics!

Fourteen completed in July .... 109 total now!
(and not one made yet in August!)
And yes, all are different fabrics, with MANY THANKS to several partners in crime that have made that possible!

To keep this on topic for the FFC thread, take a look at G11 (third in the third row). Yes, same FFC fabric, but a blue version!

Pardon the wonky-ness (word?) ... an angle shot does not make anything look square on this.
Note ... design wall overfloweth, time for an expansion!
