FFC -- One FQ: "Sew" Much Creativity!!Q c

QuiltE - not going to try a DJ; for me it would be waaay too likely that I would stop after 23 blocks, and then forever after feel guilty about not finishing. I'm not really a traditional quilt style person, anyway. I like your low-key approach to doing it though!
huntannette - congratulations on your beautiful four squares...how many more to go?!

I will use it till I have none left, then will find coordinating fabric for the rest...I know I have plenty and know exactly which ones I will use.....I only have about a zillion to go!!! I have plenty of the backgroung fabric for the whole thing. As QuiltE said it will be a when I feel like it project!

huntannette--I like your blocks...great way to use your FFC fabric! It will be interesting to see how many blocks you can get from just one FQ.
alisonquilts--It's ok not to make all the blocks. Just a few would make a nice wall hanging or runner.

Me-thinks that HuntAnnette is hooked on DJ!
I'm thrilled for you HA .... and thrilled that you are using your FFC fabric!
I really like the background fabric.
Now get packing for your trip ... and careful they don't end up in the Garage Sale items!! YIKES!!!!!!!!
Wonder? how many will you do while you are here in the South?
Will the FQ be totally devoured by then?
Just be sure to bring all of them with you ... so I can see them IRL!!!!
AlisonQ ... only a few and you would have a Baby Jane! 225 comes to mind, but I can;t remember if that is with or without the triangles and corners added in.
Someone help me out on the number count ... please??

BrendaK--for my blocks I used a technique I learned on a tutorial here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOWSp...layer_embedded Then I just added borders...if you want exact sizes, I can measure and let you know. I am working on quilting it this week so it's on my table.
QE--DJ including triangles and "kites" is 225 blocks. Just squares is 169.
