I finished the Farmer's Daughter block and think I got a little carried away LOL I did make the large block but will put that on the back of the quilt. I can't remember who posted SS hanging the smaller block quilt on the line, but I just had to go with that. I still want to find some clothespins? The second picture is just the small quilt that I worked on this am when I couldn't sleep... I 'tied' the quilt.

Mary, that is so very thoughtful! I found those very same clothespins at Walmart this noon. And I need to finish this quilt for our guild quilt show next week. Thanks

My own opinion.......I think most are disappointed because the first block was an animal and many were expecting all farm animals, not farm related things. Trust me, from growing up on a farm, it takes a lot more than just the animals to make a farm. I am enjoying the blocks inspite of the fact my first love is animals. I appreciate the work and time that is going into creating this quilt first by the person that is designing it. And second by those that are sticking with it, attempting each block and adding their personal touch. Its a lot of work. And its the game, the doing something together, the social aspect that really counts first and we have lovely people here that are doing amazing work.
Plus the fact you can't please everyone all the time but it doesn't stop us from trying, lol. Great job all!!

Not quite finished cow and sheep--want to do some embellishments on them both. My cow needs eyes, a chain necklace and a #1. We lived on a dairy farm when we first got married and milked cows. My job was to take care of the calves and I kept the 1st one to start my herd. I still have her chain and number. NO, we no longer milk cows!
