So sorry Judith!!

Bram had an identical twin brother, Julian, who passed in the 22nd week of the pregnancy.
The twins sure are miracles!

Isa is staying here tonight. Tomorrow we're baking cupcakes She asked if her mom could have one so I said we better bake enough then. She loves cuddling and so do I

Thanks Anael.

So sorry to hear about Julian.

Baking and grandmas go hand in hand. Have a great time. And make a wonderful memory. Cuddles with the grands are super special.

I'm touched by both your losses and I'm so sorry. I was not able to have my own children; However, my older sister was kind enough to loan me her kids a bunch so I'm a second mama to her kids. Not the same but it worked for us.

My favorite holiday activity is baking with the nieces.... Both my neice and DH neice spent many a holidays in my kitchen. They are grown with munchkins of their own now...I missed them today as I baked my treats...

Hope you have a wonderful holiday season with your families!!! Merry Christmas!

I remember this being such a difficult time for your family, Anael. You came to mind when our son and his wife had identical twins and all the concerns about twin to twin transfusion while she was carrying them..those were the most tested babies out of all our grands. Cole is smaller than Reed and has always have been...at 18 months they are happy and healthy.

We have 4 other angel children among our Grands, Judith. Teen, never underestimate the power of being an aunt...my mother's sister never had children and made each of her nieces and nephews feel special about themselves and instilled in us a spirit of independence. When she passed in her 90's, all of us gathered from across the country to celebrate these gifts she gave to us. I am fortunate to have been given the gift of her name. She became one of the wise women in my life, a woman to model my life after.

Thank you all. Yes OK, it was a very difficult time.
Glad to hear Cole and Reed are doing well!!

Being an aunt is great too. The boys of my youngest brother stayed here twice or three times a year when they were young. They always had a great time.

If anyone is interested, a Facebook group is going to be doing the Gypsy Wife quilt in a quilt a long in February. It's one of those closed groups you have to ask to join and purchase your own pattern. But it looks like fun. It's the group titled Gypsy Wife quilt along 2019.
