Jen Kingwell blocks and finished quilts

Anita....fingers crossed! If this wasn't a challenging assembly and, instead, just rows, it would be pretty easy to figure out.... I have the pattern and can see that it would need a bit of disassembling to slip a couple of one inch sashing near the top. Ugh! I saw in the pattern book that each section gives a completed size so maybe finding the section(s) or blocks that are either too big or too small may help you in figuring out an easy fix if this doesn't work.... I'm sorry...so frustrating...good Luck!

Our Project together
Nita and I are doing “MSW” together “long distance”. We do a section each mth in our own way and then Skype to see what each of us has come up with. We also talk abt the next section we’ll do for the following mth and bounce ideas off of one another. Needless to say, we are having fun. Nita is using creative license to make it her own.
This is our first section from last mth and will post each mth our sections as we progress.
The first one w/yellow sun in the sky is Nita’s...Mine the second.

I was almost finished quilting GTSB, only the border left but my Juki had to go to hospital. So the repair man picked her up today and will phone me when she's working properly again.
I purchased a Westalee ruler and ruler foot for the Juki. I can't use that foot on the other machines..........too bad!! I want to quilt the border with that Westalee ruler.
So I set up my embroidery machine again.

hobbycat...both are wonderful!! Sounds like this is a great time for you and your friend. So fun! I love the fabrics in each one. Your sky fabric is gorgeous!
Anael...Seriosuly? Darn...you are so close and then Juki bites the dust. Ugh! Oh well....embroidery is a nice break from FMQ'ing so enjoy new projects.
My "Happy Birds" Kingwell quilt is back from LA'r today and I plan to bind it this weekend and sew on the button eyes. I finished the top last year then moved so I am so happy it is finally quilted. I chose a whimsical bird pattern that is adorable and will share here when binding on.

Teen, I thought about your Happy Birds and was wondering if you ever showed it. Now I have my answer
Can't wait to see it. I have the pattern but need to finish my UFO's and WIP's first!!
