Hang in there, OKsewglad!!! Can't wait for you to jump in with us soon.

Anael....gorgeous blocks!!! Trip is especially pretty with your color choices.. Making progress...Going to be a beautiful quilt when done. And more pics....I love your countryside pictures. The Regge stream is incredible that it's been there that long. Amazing. So much history there. And your new hips appear to be working great. Isn't that wonderful? So happy for you. Did the pain finally go away?

We came home to some sad news. My DH's beloved aunt passed away Friday and they didn't want to tell us while we were on the road. I've been with my MIL (her sister) the last couple of days. This aunt was, personally, my favorite on DH's side. Anywhoo... Spent the morning with her and will now spend a little time writing family...then maybe sew a little later. I did make 2 pinwheel blocks yesterday evening for Section 2. Just 2 more blocks for that section.

So sorry Teen!! Hugs

Thanks for the compliments on blocks and pics
The pain is almost gone, just sometimes my left hip (or scar tissue) is bothering me but by far not as painful as before surgery!! So I'm still very happy!

I should have done what you did on the around the world block with the background fabric in strips instead of individual squares would have saved me time and probably been more accurate,. Need to get started on my courthouse step blocks.
