He certainly is adorable. Love his coat fabric and boots and tree.

Perfect fabrics for your Russian Nicholas. I like him too!!
Don't go too fast, you need another project in a few days at this pace

Teen, your Santa blocks look fabulous. And, Russian Santa is darling. All the different fabrics. Great job!! It looks like your having a blast! And, I like your mixed in stash blocks. Keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing more. Hope you had fun at your sister's gathering! Because, it sure sounds like you do. I wish my sister and I were that close. But, sadly, we are not. I haven't seen her in years. She lives out in OK. She comes to FL occasionally but, never calls. I would really love to see her. I tried for years to keep in touch. But, she really didn't want to.

Anael, you are one busy person! I love how excited you are about your bike rides. I love hearing about them. Glad DDIL is doing good. And, hope you had fun at High Tea. Chatting with a friend is priceless.

Thank you, all....

Blue Bell....that's so funny that you like the blue fabric in this one. It's fabric stash from one of my CW quilts. Lol.. Good eye..

Anael....I still have the pieced blocks to make for this too....then I'll be quilting it myself. Good grief...I can sure pick the projects, can't I?

Judith...that is sad about your relationship with sister. Maybe one day things will change. In the meantime, I'll be your sister and share my looney ones with you. Hug!

Are you going to follow the pattern Teen? I just had a look at the quilttop and with the pieced blocks I think it's quite a busy one and the Santa blocks don't stand out. Just my opinion though!
And yes, you are very good at picking projects LOL.

Thanks Judith, we had a great time. We onlu meet about 4 or 5 times a year (sometime even less) and have a lot to talk about.
I visited the grands (and their parents ) this morning and DDIL is doing great. She's just tired but that's understandable.

I likely won't do the 6" blocks, Anael. I like the look of the pattern but I just don't have the energy to do 6" blocks...lol... I'll do the 12" pieced blocks and lay it out and then decide. Glad to hear DDIL is doing well, too. Hope you enjoyed the grands...

Hahahahaaaaa you did more than enough of those 6" blocks.

I'm done with the flying geese for LTG. Now I'm working on the courthouse steps, I thought I finished those but I found out I still need 3 more. And then........the pine apple blocks. A zillion (9LOL). As finish a few checkered blocks and then the borders. When you say it, it doesn't sound like much but it still is a few hours of work.
So back to the machine it is!!!

I wanted to copy the templates for the pine apple blocks but my scanner doesn't work anymore........so this is the end of LTG for today. I finished the courthouse steps blocks.
It's almost 5 pm here now, so I might just call it a day

Now the scanner is working again I think it was scared of Windows 10 hahaha.
I copied the templates, now I can finish LTG when I feel like it. Don't like making 9 blocks, all the same But thinking of finishing this one and being able to start a new one makes it all worthwhile!
So soon I will have to decide which Jen Kingwell quilt will be next !!!

Oh cool....you are almost done. Will you quilt it right away? Are you not going to continue working on GTSB? I am almost finished with the #8 Santa so not much more to go....then on to the pieced blocks, which are super easy..they are 12" ...lol...thank goodness... That will be 24 blocks so I've been designing my own block to make it 25, which I will use as the center block for a 5x5 layout. It will be a unique block from others and, hopefully, pull it all together. We'll see...got lots of ideas swirling around..
