Queenbarbiej, Hey! Browns-- I'm choosing browns too. :-)
I would say that your B and C look like blenders, where the instructions say they should be medium to large prints that are multi-colored. Your E1 and E2 are blue and green, so different colors, where she suggested a light and dark of a color family, which I thought meant one color, like in her picture of her choices. I like both groups of fabrics though, the colors and your prints. :-) What do I know? I've decided to use plum for G, the white.

Sorry, I should have been clearer- I meant the small bits of purple in the Fabric D in Group 2. I can see why it'd be confusing since it's only in one of the fabric groups and I didn't specify that!

I’m going to go with it this year too. I recently purchased some of the Solana collection. Here is what I have so far. I’d welcome input.
So pretty! Love your choices.

Beverly... your Solana collection is perfect for this mystery and I can’t wait to see how your quilt finishes up.

Teen, you crack me up but I’m confident you will find the right colors for this mystery...and it’s going to be fun.

So, here's what I have. I bought the prints, and a couple of the blenders. I don't have a big stash as I only buy what I need for a project.
I think I need to swap out C for something lighter. It's too close to another of the colours. I'm sure I can find something for that in what I have.
Fabric G is upstairs, somewhere. I've got lots of that.

If nothing else, it's gonna be bright.

Watson....I love.these colors...that black background will make this colorway so dramatic and the colors will fly off the top... This will be a beautiful quilt..

Back on page 6 I posted my initial picks i called set 1and 2. I received my fabric order to fine tune my choices and have decided on my set 2 with a couple changes. But, I need y'all to let me know your thoughts on which fabric C I should use because I cannot decide! I like both of them. In the first pic I like the painterly style of the print but in the second pic I think the pink is better highlighted and brings all the fabrics together better. I realize my new fabric B is similar to fabric A but I think it is different enough to work - hopefully. Lol)

(For fun I've also added a pic of my original fabric set 1, updated. It's not as pizzazzi as the one I decided on, although I do like it. Also, Fabric A is directional with a border. Originally I wasn't concerned but since we may be cutting more from it, I decided I didn't want to chance it.)
