Carriem, thank you for your kind comment. I'm looking forward to seeing your project, too.

Emma, you've got that right! Im in the flowers, ribbon, color, more-is-better corner. My daughter is in the neutral, minimal, simply unadorned camp. She probably wanted to get away from all of her mother's clutter! hers was fun to make, but not something I would make for myself.

Thank you, Nanna up North. Im just so happy I learned how to post pix!

Narnian, Nice finish! It must feel good to get one done even amidst a crazy schedule!

Im hoping I can remember that slow and steady wins the race, and not crash and burn next month when our schedule gets busy!

Narnian.... Toot Toot.... finished!!! Yeah!!! It must be warm where you are 'cause you have your quilt hanging outside. I sure wish it was warm here..... supposed to get up to mid 20s today. That's a big improvement over the -20 wind chills we've been having this week.

Retiredteacher, it makes me tired just reading about all the stuff you finished this month... WoW! I sure wouldn't have been able to do all that when I was teaching. I can't even get that much done now. Good to hear of your finishes, though. Keep up the good work.

What an ambitious group we have here!! Great finishes and progress for January going on, and the month isn't quite over yet. You guys just WOW me!!!

QltrSue, love your finishes! Congratulations!

Qltsue, what great finishes. I really like the embroidery wall hanging. Narnian, you found a unique way to photograph your quilt. RT09, you have been one busy gal. Good thing Feb. has fewer days.

We had 5 days that we could not drive due to ice on the streets. I cleaned out 2 hugs bags of scraps into: strips, HST, Small pieces, and throw away for a doggie kennel bed cover. That's not all, I altered 2 pr pants, and 2 night gowns then worked on a doll quilt. Am finding all UFO'S so I can see exactly how much I have to finish.....I feel like Cinderellas' Step sister !!!!

My Little Pony lap quilt for my son (don't ask). His only complaint? It's not long enough. Well, if he'd stop growing for a few minutes it wouldn't be a problem!Cammo quilt for a friend of my son's. I free motion quilted around all the olive green areas, the back of it looked really cool!Merry Christmas quilt from I Believe Art To Heart book by Nancy Halvorsen.Sunflower Cafe. pattern from Quilter's World, August 2008. It's supposed to have birdhouses around it, but I just wanted to get it done! My first time using Crayola markers to mark lines (worked beautifully) and my first time using my new sewing machine and FMQ in the gold area without having to change the presser foot! That was very exciting! So that makes five completed for the month. Now down to 50!

My, my, michelleoc... you've been busy. Those are some really cute quilts. The quilting is really nice. How did you use Crayola markers?? Did it wash out? I'm confused. you're going to have to explain how you did that.

Michelleoc, such nice work and so many finishes! cheerful wallhangings.

Thankyou, Krystyna and SandyinZ4. The embroidered one was designed by a gal from Idaho, Waltzing With Bears, from Boise. The table set was a Connecting Threads kit, Linked Table Setting by Ann Johnson. I apologize for not giving credit with the pix. Will do so next time. :)

Michelleoc, love your finishes, but I'll admit I'm partial to the sunflower and little birds. How sweet!
