I am getting lots of quilts made, just not UFOs. I really want to finish at least one this month but it's not looking good.

I was able to get another top quilted and the binding on the last couple days. Pattern is "Split Decision". Not an old UFO...bought fabric in Oct 2013, cut in Nov, sewed top in March 2014 and quilted this week. :)

Emma, Thanks for being our cheerleader and encouraging us on. CarrieM, I do like that pattern. Off I go now to get started on hand sewing the binding on. (The second side...I do the first by machine.) My DH today told me that he thinks that would be the worst part of all. I told him that actually, I like this part really well, because it means I am almost to the finish line. :-)

Wow another great quilt, Carrie. Love the pattern.
Sandy, I like to hand bind, too....most soothing part of the whole process! |
Carrie: Love the positive and negative block. It gives a lot of movement to the quilt. Great finish!
OK, Sandy: Also like the hand binding process. It gives me a chance to look at the quilt from a little distance and actually see what I have done. |
Your oldest ufo is lovely.

Here's one more November finish. This is my oldest UFO. The pattern is called Cumberland and it was in a 2003 issue of Quiltmaker Magazine! It will be going to one of my daughters for Christmas.
