Thanks bunches to "Erin" for sending me strips. They fit well into the small but growing batch.

welcome back sandy . Altrairss I wish I had some fabric to share but strange enough I have no vegetables.
Ok way to stay strong on that first day of work. That would be difficult but you at least get admire all those goodies.
I'm glad the strips will work for you Martina. Love to see the project.
AUQuilter - those are gorgeous fabrics. Thanks for sharing with us. That Fossil Fern fabric is hard to resist.

Thanks...a. couple of scraps found there way into my apron pocket with owner's blessing. She rolled her eyes when next work day I showed her what I did with the 3/4" strip I took home. I made a little block using a 2 1/2" jack o lantern square...next round the green scrap strip and then a 1" scrap strip...all bound with fall fabric. I pinned it to my apron...have found it to be a handy temp pin cushion when not near a real one. :-)

oksewglad...You know we all want to see the little jack o lantern pin cushion you made with scraps. Nice that owner let the scraps fall in your apron pocket. Hopefully, many more will make their way there and not into the trash can.

I'll take one tonight and post tomorrow night...it's not really a pin cushion more like a mini quilt, but a safe resting place for pins.

Looking forward to seeing your mini quilt. Sounds like a great idea solution for those pins.
