Yeah! Finished first UFO for 2015 ... Really am happy with the results. This is a baby quilt for a classmate of mine (1st grade through 12th grade) who became a grandma for the first time in March of 2014. It took me a while to find the right fabric so I got a late start on it. I'll post more pictures in the "Pictures" section of the board. I'm really liking this challenge ... it's giving me the incentive to get my UFOs done! But boy, is it ever tempting to start a new project!

Is that darling, or what? Great finish!

Evie, love the vibrant colors! She will love it!!!

Great finishes, Sandy!

Yours are great, too, Grammie.

What fun finishes! Way to keep it going.

I finished another mini last night. My QBuddy came over today. She had a bunch of candy square packets and we each made a pinwheel mini one from a packet in spring like colors. Guess what? Another thing to finish......LOL

Now that I have the big EOY bookwork done I can get pictures and share.

Weasie, what a great quilt. I love pinwheels!

Yay for me! I got my #1 done sooner than later. Inspiration came from an earlier post here on the QB:

It's for a four-year-old so it's not very big, 44 x 54, but still a quilting challenge for me. I think it came out OK and I'm sure Emma will appreciate it.

Great additions. I love looking at pics because it shows the diversity of the group. Keep 'em coming.

Weasier: Love your beautiful. What could be more beautiful for an infant,Ev than that crisp, lovely design? And that back is designed and executed beautifully.
Evie: One of the things I realize is that the infant and the toddler quilts look so much different. I think one is more to appeal to the parents and the other to the toddler. Think I'm going the infant route very quickly to be followed by something bright, bold and fun like your "flower" quilt. Hmmmmm, how many quilts does a baby need?

Finished a table runner today. 3 more runners to go! Will post pictures when all are done. Glad to get my second UFO for 2015 completed today!

Wahoo....finished my 3rd UFO. Now on to the 17 tops I have to quilt...sigh. My current new project is taking awhile so since I always have to juggle several projects at once, I am doing UFO's instead of starting new ones....well sort of...I am planning new ones.
I don't know how good an idea it is for me to look at the beautiful pictures of all the completed UFO's. I now have project boxes with fabrics put together for a pinwheel quilt and a stripped flower quilt...oh my.
I found a free online resizer for my pics so I am loading you up!
