They do, although I find them very hard to find on the site. There's a new one running now http://quilting.about.com/od/Mystery...lt-Pattern.htm

It feels so good to get another UFO finished. This one has been aging as a flimsy waiting for me to retire and get it quilted.

It's made using a free Bonnie Hunter pattern. http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2005/06/string-x.html
It's a great pattern for using up scraps.

I really like this pattern but was not able to find any where how big the triangles need to be that you sew onto the sides. Does anyone else see where that is posted in the pattern?

Great job on this UFO. Your choice of colors is stunning.

Last line in the cutting directions:

From background fabric: Cut (48) 4 7/8" squares. Cut these diagonally from corner to corner for a total of (96) 1/2 square triangles.

Thank you Krista! Sometimes I wonder how I can miss it.

SilviaDiana, Very nice quilt you are working on. I don't think I have ever seen that pattern before. Quite unique. I am excited because my LA quilter said she was putting my TATW (made in spring 2014) on the frame tomorrow so hopefully, I will have it back soon. I have the binding all ready for it. The I can 'finally' cross one more ufo off my list! I will be sure and post a picture.

Welcome Katie! I haven't completed a quilt in a year and a half and the kind people on this thread still let me tag along. Things are about to change, I have two graduations in June. My grandson is graduating from Highschool and my daughter from college. Both quilt tops are finished, my grandsons is actually sandwiched. Hopefully having a deadline will help me get motivated.

Hi SilviaDiana and welcome. This UFO challenge keeps you thinking about all those UFO's you need to finish. At least, you think about them! lol I have finished 3 so far this year and one is being long armed as I write this. I am beginning to bog down now as the weather gets nicer, but I am determined to finish at least a few more this year. I make tops and then fold them up and put them away. Out of sight, out of mind, as the saying goes. So, dig through those UFO's and start in.
