Finished 2 more UFO's at our charity sew-in today. I'm down to 11 tops to be quilted, 2 in stages of piecing, and 2 projects needing binding. Down from my 20+ at the beginning of the year :)

An abundance of great finishes in February! I was inspired to add one of my own. This was a flimsy from at least 5+ years ago. It is going to my mom who strongly hinted for one of my quilts during my last visit home in January. She wanted something colourful. It measures only 31" square so I think it will be a great lap size for her since she is confined to a wheel chair. Although small it contains a few firsts for me: my first design, first time trying a scrappy back and first FMQ other than meandering. Now I can decide which UFO to work on in March - I'm liking this challenge!

Oh Canda great job on your wall hanging.
Julie down from 20 to 11 quilts that is fantastic. I have a question: If I have a club challenge and miss the deadline does it then become a UFO? |
Congratulations, MadQuilter, for your second UFO finish! Look forward to seeing a picture of the desk runner. Toot Toot!
I can report my second finish. The companion desk runner is DONE. Added the binding last night. When my "model" is home I will post a picture.
Julie, you certainly are dedicated to clearing your UFOs! Congratulations on another two finishes. How nice that these are for charity. Some lucky somebodies will be happy to receive these. Toot, Toot on your latest two. :)

OC, great finish! Mom's going to be happy when she sees it. Congratulations and a big Toot Toot for finishing up a 5 year old UFO. Very pretty.

Tkhooper, YOU determine if a project is a UFO or not. If it's been sitting around languishing for a year, I'd say yes, it's a UFO. If your deadline was last week, I'd say no. But I don't determine "UFO'ness", you do! Just be honest with yourself. Is it a UFO??? If you believe it is, post it here and I'll add it to the tally. :)
