Nice finish Jaba, congrates. I remember the swap from 3 years ago. I didn’t participate, but made some blocks anyway.
I finished my October project, will try to post pic. I call it my 2.5’ scarecrow wall hanging. I completed this a few days ago. |
OK, 3 days into November so I'll go ahead and post October's info. Thanks go to Belfrybat, Oksewglad, Glojean48, Happylab, Kristakz, Rryder, Sophie2, Anne2016 and Jaba for their combined 18 UFO finishes to bring us to a total of 245 for the year.
Great job, everyone! It's getting close to the holidays and I know we are all busy with life so it's nice that so many of you were able to pull off a finish last month. Can we make 300 for the year? Might be tough. But yet I wonder... |

I plan to have several more projects done this month. I just need to put on binding on 2 quilts. I’l Post pics when they are done. I have 3 small projects almost done as well. |
I’ve got several things that should be doable in the next two months. Probably 3 or 4 anyway.....

Jaba, love the DP4! I have one of those among my UFO's. Maybe it will be next. I just finished this one from 5 years ago. It started with a remnant that I used to experiment with 4-Patch Posey. Then it was hard to come up with a use for those 5 blocks, especially since they were not in colors that I'd usually pick and I don't know too many people who would have a place for it in their home. It's 60", a good size for a couch, but who wants purple, orange and yellow for that? Then just as I finished and put this in the washer my husband brought in the mail and I got a card from an old friend who moved away in 2000. She said she'd had both knees replaced recently. I knew immediately who should be getting all these cheerful colors, and it's on its way to her. I quilted this on my Babylock embroidery machine, except for the outer border, which has just simple channel quilting.
