Not much sewing time for me this month, had a quick vacation to DC for a double grad party and a eagle scout ceremony. We did extend our trip for some site seeing, we haven't been there in over 38 years. DH was going thru guitar withdrawal so I said we could fine a few shops for him to try them at. So I had to see what quilt stores were in the area.:D I was shocked! We were 6 miles from the Jinny Beyer Studio, I just had to go. Didn't get any fabric, just my leather dots for hand sewing and a coffee cup. But I was there and the fabrics are indeed awesome. Maybe next year when we have the other grad party I'll bring a empty suitcase. Now that the sewing room is clean just need to find the UFO I was working on and finish it.

Half of this new year is behind and I completed 2 ufo's. But so many remaining, I will try two a month.

My work on UFO's has come to a screeching halt! But on the other hand I have made three graduation quilts in four weeks! Ta-Da! One will get its binding tomorrow, #2 will get binding on sometime next week, and #3 should be back from the LA early next week. Then back to my current projects and to get caught up on my guild work. Then.... it will be UFO time. One of the Mystery Train pieces needs quilting and binding and the Quilt Police Block of the Week will be waiting for its last row, layering quilting and binding. Happy quilting all.
