Sorry, I haven't had much of an opportunity to get anything I had on my list completed, but I did get two sets of squares sewn for my friend. This only counts toward my Moratorium--not a UFO.

I did think that you would enjoy my "Inspector" after Thanksgiving dinner. I couldn't find him while we were eating. Apparently my brother was at the other end of the table feeding him ham the entire time. He had three different locations where he could lay and watch everything without moving a muscle. :D

Teen-love your display of your minis. I especially love the hilltop house ( I think that is what it is called). I have that pattern and haven't done it yet-it feels a little intimidating to me. Was it easy to make? Really love your quilts

Teen, great wall of minis. I bet it brings you smiles every day. I'm so glad that yall are making your new home yours this holiday season.

Thank you, everyone! I love that I could finally hang them after making and stacking in preparation.

Jordan...thank you...I like that one ,too. It's called Hillside Houses and the pattern came in three different sizes. I chose the mini and the only challenging aspect of the pattern was keeping track of color placement. The blocks had portions of multiple houses in them so it about did my head in. Lol..The larger sizes would probably be easier with the bigger pieces of fabric used. I think there is a layout included that you can color in the colors...probably should have done that..lol...oh well..

Thanks for the hillside houses tip, Teen.

I am happy to announce my little success - I finished today the most intricate one of the UFOs mentioned a month ago. Pics will be posted soon. Look out for a wedding quilt!

I have posted the wedding quilt in the Pictures section. And managed to finish another UFO - will post it soon, too. But still there is a lot of work ahead!

I managed to get 3 UFOS quilted but still haven’t finished the bindings. I have been struggling with the hand stitching. Guess I’m going to have to learn how to do them by machine one of these days.
ive been trying to get through some clutter ( a of clutter) and started writing each ufo I come across down onto a small piece of paper. I have two containers- one is machine project UFOs the other is hand work. I think I will also start a third one with each kit I come across. Each time I finish a project I’m going to draw out a slip of paper that will tell me the next one to work on. Hand projects I generally work on during breaks at work and travel ( waiting) projects, so I will be working on machine and hand projects at the same time & every now and then *when I want to work on something new instead of a ufo* I will draw a kit to do . We shall see how I do with this system next year.

ckcowl: Please keep us updated on how this system works for you. I’m always interested in new ideas for accomplishing projects.
