That is a beautiful quilt, SBG!!! I love each block and all the fabrics. Congratulations on finishing such a challenging quilt! Hopefully you are keeping this one for yourself?

Those Farmers wives are. Huge undertaking. Congratulations on your beautiful finish.

SBG, lovely with the reproduction fabrics and a few feed sacks. Wow what a treat to some some of the real fabric from the era. .
I am still plodding along with mine. Up to 81 blocks finished. Only 29 more to go! Oops, 30 to go. On block needs to be redone for better color contrast. I am look at a Christmas time finish. So many blocks and so many other quilts to do. https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/hug.gif |
Congratulations on finishing, Sewbiz- it’s gorgeous, and very cool that you had some real feedsacks to use along with the reproductions.

Thanks so much everyone! If it wasn't for the QAL (The Pony Club group) I may never have made it. Took maybe a year to get the blocks all made, two per week. Then they just sat in a stack for years. So glad to get it completed. It's one of my favorite quilts I've ever made.
