I have the baby down for the night, and the chores are done, so now I'm going to treat myself to a ginger beer and sew some triangles up. My style Saturday night:)

I drew the Step 2 block in EQ7 and printed it in a pdf file as a PP format. Please feel free to use it. When you print it, make sure it measures 3 inches finished.

Thank you so much for doing this! I'm having trouble getting mine to come out right so this might do the trick!

You're welcome Sue. I was hoping that someone might be able to use it, if nothing else but to get the size right.

I have the Deb Tucker tool for making Triangle in a Square. If I did not have it, I would probably piece these units with freezer paper using my add a quarter ruler. However, there is one more way to make these out of two half rectangle triangles.

Thank you Barb in Louisana, I have the tri recs ruler but prefer paper piecing. You saved me from drawing it up. Happy Sewing!

Splinter, I think I have that Deb Tucker tool. I am so glad you mentioned that. I will check to see if I have it and use it for making these units.

Hi, my name's Sue, and I'm addicted to rulers. I went in search of Deb Tucker's ruler, but couldn't find it. However, I did find a Triangle in a Square ruler set by Eleanor Burns. Can you point me in the right direction? I do have Tri Recs, but still, if there's another ruler out there...! Thank you!

I haven't used this but I do like her other rulers. https://deb-tuckers-studio-180-desig...oducts/v-block

I tried really hard to not participate this year. I didn't want to buy fabric, and I lost patience trying to pull coordinating colors I liked from stash. Then Bonnie had to post neutrals for step 1, and I thought...I can do that without too much brain racking! Once I started with that, I had no choice but to buy fabric. Not to place blame anywhere else, but you ladies don't help with all the chatter and picture posting! LOL! So I'm officially in.

I'm changing up the colors a little, some of which will be scrappy. Usually, when I try too hard, I'm not happy with the results. We'll see what happens this year.

Have fun everybody!

I'm piecing my MQ on my 1901 Singer treadle. She makes the most beautiful stitches and the sound she makes, just puts me in complete relaxation. Anyone else out there piecing theirs on a treadle?
