Sounds like you've been busy, Macybaby! I hope the remodel goes well.
Here are my blocks for this month, once again minus the applique block. I am still working on last month's applique block. I made a paper piecing error in the friendship ring block that I did not notice until I put the block together for the second time. I am very low on both of these fabrics, so I'm going to live with the glitch. |
Very nice blocks, Joe's mom! Instead of the appliqued block this month, I made Grandmother's Flower Garden from Sylvia's Bridal Sampler. That was plenty of hand applique for me!

Hi Everybody, your blocks look wonderful! I have been sidetracked but hope to be back on track soon. So happy to see the substitutions. I am trying to paper piece instead of the applique blocks.

Here is my July progress. Some from the list, some not. Looks like I have 8 more to go for my lay out. It is now down to the wire as to which 8 I want to make and what colors need to used to balance the final blocks before start to sew them together.

Your quilt in progress looks just great, WMUTeach! The on-point setting really shows the blocks to advantage.

Fabulous, WMUteach! Love your layout!

So sorry to have been quiet the last few days. Our daughter gave birth to Madison Molly at 02.53 on Sunday morning weighing 6lb 140zs. She is - of course, gorgeous !
I will be posting the next eight blocks on Saturday - I can feel your anticipation !!!! xx |
Congratulations, Dotty. That is such exciting news. What a blessing!
I’ve been side tracked with family stuff but continued to follow the thread. You all are sewing beautiful blocks. I hope to eventually catch up. |
Congratulations, Dotty! That is wonderful news, and such a pretty name.
