I would love to be adopted by you. I do not know much about anything at all just what the women at church have taught me in one class a monthe since October of last year.

I'm 23, new to quilting, and would love to be 'adopted' by a wiser and more experienced member of the quilting community! I'm still working on completing the tops of my first quilt(s), but rearranging my space so that sewing becomes an easier activity to pursue at my leisure.

I am definately a newbie! I will take ANY help I can get! I have been preparing myself to quilt for years. Because I knew there would be a time when I could no longer work due to my multiple sclerosis. So tell me, are there any takers out there for me? Please let me know.

I'm a newbie and not really ready to be adopted but I'm struggling with all the abbreviations used on all the posts. Is there a Glossary some where?

I have EQ7 software and still can't figure it out.

I took a FMQ class last week and the instructor does not drop her feed dogs. She just sets her stitch length to "0". T tried it that way and it works just as good as dropping the feed dogs.
