Yes, me too! Isn't that great? She was reading our mail! I wrote to thank her for the early instructions, so we can make those as we go along, with our scraps maybe.

I received the border e-mail also. I'm happy about being able to make the blocks up as we go. Maybe I won't get so far behind.

So did you decide to stick with the Civil War theme since this block is CW too? It sure if pretty but I do like CW fabric a lot. When I originally started quilting I did not but now it is one of my favorites.

Cheesehead and Anna... you two are so fast! I won't be able to sew mine until later in the week. Your blocks look great! It's amazing how many designs are based on the half square triangle!
