Here's a picture of my 6th block. I didn't want to make the red as indicated, so I just used two prints.

givio,that's really pretty. I also only used 2 reds. I put my single one in the corners only, then the second red in the 3 triangles pointing outward. Yours reminds me of valentines, guess it's the reds and pinks. lol. sewbizgirl better get going girl. I'm sure you'll catch up quickly. I just got my block 7 email. I hope I can sew it up today. Having a lot of fun with this bow and all you ladies on here.

Hmmm not sure about that one either. Maybe I will play with the colors or make another 10 inch block. Maybe is the center square is from a darker fabric.

I am currently working on one of the other blocks. I started that one before this one released.

Marcia it is very pretty. On my computer it looks great. I've got mine cut out and all the hst's sewn and cut to size. Maybe tomorrow I will get it all put together. Not my favorite block either. Not a bad block just to make just has no pop to it like the others.

Givio, love that beautiful block with all the pinks and reds! Stunning colors. Marcia, I think your block is going to work well in your quilt. It will be on point and around all the other blocks, so maybe you'll like it better then. I don't dislike this block, but to me it looks more modern that Civil War style. Whatever. I think it's going to work fine.
