Rhonda, this has nothing at all to do with this thread....but your avatar is so precious. Those two little ones you have had on here ..... I just want to squeeze them and steal them from you. They are adorable. Katie

Rhonda, I'm still considering myself a newbie and a beginner. So forgive me for asking. What is a Mugrug?

    Looks like fun Rhonda!

Gannyrosie and aaronokon, welcome! A mug rug can be any size but most are smaller than a placemat. It is generally made large enough to place a mug and perhaps a snack or your stirring spoon on. Do a search on this board and on google or pinterest for inspiration.

Could I finish one in time is the question. Thinking could do.

You are welcome Rhonda. Isn't there a thread of mug rug photos on this board? That might help.

I'm guessing it is okay to make a mug rug similar to one that I've made b4 and posted a photo of here last year?

Where or who do I contact about asking if we can have a mug rug swap or fabric postcard swap this year?

If you make a mugrug that is the same as one you've made before and that is unique enough that people will know you made it without being told then that would not be fair to the rest. We are trying to keep this anonymous so the votes are fair to all with no favoritism.

If the mugrug is not going to tip anyone off that you made it then by all means make another one.

As to the swaps here is the mugrug swap going on now on QB
You can still sign up til Jan 14th I think it said

Where are the mug rug pictures that we are supposed to be voting on ? Didn't the contest say we could start voting yesterday? Really looking forward to seeing what members submitted.
