Here's my March block. When I was sewing the blocks together I realized that I had my needle to the far right which gave a bigger than a 1/4" seam. So I added fabric all around then cut the corners with the green triangles.

Clever fix, Queenbarbiej! That's a sweet block with the little mushrooms.

Queenbarbiej ~ Nice design element!

Can't seem to get my picture to upload ... will try again later.

I may have found some wonderful fabrlc to use as sashing for these blocks. I’ll be auditioning it tomorrow.

I thought I would have my sewing machine back by now, but it turns out DDIL (subbing for DH, who couldn't lift because of eye surgery) hadn't taken it in after 10 days. So now the estimate is 2 1/2 weeks. I do have my old machine available, but the sewing on that is so much more laborious and inaccurate, I'm inclined to wait for my good machine, at least for the smaller versions.

Joe’smom, I bet you are going stir crazy...I would be lost without my machine. I’m sorry to hear that you have to wait another couple of weeks.

Lovely block DJ, I love the center fabric and how you positioned the colors around it.

DJ, your shades of purple and blue in that block are lovely together!
