Love it, DJ.
jmoore- you wanna laugh? I'm in another "slow along" with Bev McCullough and when I pulled out a bundle of FQ's -guess what it was? Creekside! LOL I didn't even know I had it !! I need serious help haha
Queenbarbie- I like your block but if you don't that's all that matters.

I've been following along and am ready to join in on this BOM. I've printed out the first two patterns and dug out some bundles to use. I have these two, quite stylized fat eighth bundles that I think would be hard to combine with other fabrics, so my plan is to make two of the small version and one of the large. I think I will take Sherri's suggestion and simply do one of the 6" pinwheels for the smaller versions of month 2.

That’s too funny...I bet you have an amazing stash. I would love to come play in your sewing studio... I keep a small stash so I don’t get lost or overwhelmed.

That's a beautiful block, SusieQOH! The colors in that fabric line are lovely.
Here is my first small set of blocks. I have never worked with 1" pieces before! This fabric is called Flour Garden. Do you think the second block looks too hulking next to the first? I opted for Sherri's suggestion of doing one of the 6" pinwheels instead of the 4 tiny ones.

joe'smom ~ Lovely blocks! The second one seems just a bit overpowering, but I think when you have all the other blocks completed, you will be able to arrange them so that the stronger ones are scattered throughout the quilt. I am doing the larger blocks, but I would have opted for the single pinwheel also. I want to make a mini block some day, so I may use this pattern to make it using the small pieces and only 1/4 of the block and see how it goes.

I am doing the 12” blocks along with the Old School BOM in fact, I’m using the same FQ collection in case I want to combine them all into one quilt down the road.
