Scrappy Irish Chain Sew-Along
#244
I have come to a halt on the quilting of my Scrappy Double Irish Chain. It is on the frame and as I started to quilt it I discovered I had a lot of frog stitching to do <sigh>. So little by little I am doing what has to be done. In addition I have been halted by repair men for the AC and water softener as both of these went out in a week of each other. It seems that this last 10 months the majority of large ticket items went out on us. Washing machine, hot water tank, furnace, major car repair, dishwasher and now the AC and water softener. Now the stitch regulator is out on my machine. Once all the froging is completed I will go back and begin starting over without it and see how that goes. It doesn't stop me from getting other quilting projects completed however. It is slowing me down however.

Thank you everyone for the compliments. Juliasb I understand about appliance needing service. My washer is 25 years old and once in awhile the bearings will squeal. My husband says to replace it but I can't. It was the first major appliance we bought we got married. I'm taking it easy with it.

They were really fun to make and now are ready to sew into quilt top.
