Well, day 1 is over and done with, and yes you guessed it, did not even look at a ufo.Spent the day looking at this site, posting replies, and making 2 church blocks for the 2011 block of the month, and then made 2 blocks for Jan swap.Procrastination seems to be my middle name.
Tomorrow I'm out most of the day, so it looks like the weekend is the time to get the ufo's out and going, unless of course something more interesting comes along.

Count me in. Not sure I have 12 started but its probably close. I know I have a lot of individual blocks that were experiments that have no mates but I was trying out pattern, fabric, technique, etc.

Oh! Then you have a lot of exciting creativity coming up in the next year!
When I have those "orphan" blocks, I lay them out on a bed, select a four patch or some other simple pattern (for sashing), a few strips to make things even out and I have created a great sampler cuddle quilt! <wave> (in case you weren't sure what to do with them <g>)

So now we're more than halfway through day two.Guess whay I did today???? Yes, got out the quilt topand backing, but there's not enough batting. So I did try to do some today. I don't even have enough batting to join a couple of pieces. Looks like a trip to buy more batting at the weekend. The top is 80" square. I think it's the biggest I've done so far.
Will update you on its progress. Now I'm off to hunt out the needle-turn applique I started and then hid. Do not like doing this, but will persevere until it's finished!!

Love the UFO lists a couple of you have posted. It prompts me to do the same tomorrow ~ not so much as a reminder but as a record of my commitment and future progress for 2011. Thanks

Have decided I'm not going to quilt this huge 80"monster. I'm sending my 1st quilt to a LA quilter on Friday.

I'm working on my Christmas Quilt top, but the block I'm currently working on is a pain in the butt. It's not especially difficult, but there's a lot of work involved and I don't like making this one, for some reason. Probably why I've been working on it for three days already and it's still not finished :(

Woke up during the night with this on my mind. Grabbed a pen & paper & started my list- its longer than I realized & I keep thinking of more "UFO" tucked into various places for when I get the urge. Just remembered one BOM project I started last Jan. It had such promise but by April I was over it! Don't want to actually finish the king size it would be but maybe the 4 finished blocks would make a nice lap quilt
